APPSC Group 1 Notification 2018:Andhra Pradesh State Public Service Commission is Generally known as APPSC that conducts examination to select suitable Candidate in APPSC Group 1 selections.

APPSC is going to fill up as many as 182 posts under Group 1 category.so Aspirants are ready to crack these exam because competition is high.

APPSC Group 1 Notification 2018 : Educational Qualification

The candidates who want to apply these jobs should fulfill the following conditions.

Candidate appling need to have Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised University or Institute recognised by the UGC.

Age Limit:

Maximum age limit to apply for these posts is 34 years and Minimum age limit is 18 years.age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC is 05 years,while for PH Category candidates,it is 10 years.

There are different types of Positions in Group 1 Category.so different jobs have different qualifications which get you below.

APPSC Group 1 Posts:

1.Deputy Collector.

It is the most demandable and Top most  position in the State of Andhra Pradesh and also known as RDO so competition for the same is so high.therefore, desirous candidates need to strive to get this position.

Qualification:An applicant should have completed Graduation in any discipline from recognised University/institute.
Age Limit:18-34 years as on 01/07/2018.

No Candidate is eligible if they are less than 18 years of age and if they are more than 34 years.however,age relaxation is applicable as per notification.

Salary:Rs.40,270- Rs.93,780/-

2.Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP)

It is the top level post of Police Department  from the State.if a candidate gets this job,he will get name and fame so it is also such a nice position in the Group 1 category.

 

Qualification:Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised University/Institute.

Age Limit:21-30 years as on 01/07/2018.

No Person is eligible if they are less than 21 years of age and if they are more than 30 years,but age relaxation for reserved category candidates is applicable as per norms.

Salary:Rs.40,270-Rs.93,780/-

3 .Commercial Tax Officers:

Qualification,age limit and salary are the same as the Deputy collector vacancy.

4. Deputy Superintendent of Police in Jails.

Qualification:Candidate should have passed a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised University/Institute.

Age Limit:No Person is eligible if they are less than 21 years of age and if they are more than 30 years,but age relaxation for reserved category candidates is applicable as per norms.

Salary:Rs.40,270-Rs.93,780/-

 

5.Divisional Fire Officer 

Qualification:Candidate should have  a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised University/Institute.

Age Limit:21-30 years as on 01/07/2018.

Salary:Rs.40,270-Rs.93,780/-

6.District Registrar .

Qualification:Candidate should have  a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised University/Institute.

Age Limit: same as Deputy Collector.

Salary:Rs. 35,120 – Rs. 87,130/-

7.District Tribal Welfare Officer.

Qualification:Candidate should have  a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised University/Institute.

Age Limit: same as Deputy Collector job

8.District Employment Officer.

Qualification:Candidate should have  a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised University/Institute.

Educational Qualification: same as Deputy Collector position

15.District BC welfare Officer:

The Educational qualification and the age limit are the same,but Salary differs from other vacancies.i.e Rs.37,100- Rs.91,450.

 

16.Mandal Parishad Development Officer.

Qualification:Must have  a Degree from a recognised University/Institute.

Age Limit: same as Deputy Collector job

17.Assistant Prohibition and Excise Superintendent.

The Educational qualification is the same as above mentioned posts,but age bracket and salary are different from other vacancies given in the notification.so look at age limit and Salary.

Age Limit:18-28.

No candidate is eligible to apply  these jobs if they are less than 18 years of age and if they are more than 28 years of age.

Salary: Rs. 35,120-87,130/-

18.Lay Secretary/Administrative Officer

Qualification:Require  a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised University/Institute.

Age Limit: same as Deputy Collector position

Salary:Rs. 35,120 – Rs. 87,130/-

 

19.Assistant Audit Officer

Qualification: should have completed  a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised University/Institute.

Age Limit: Same as Deputy Collector jobs

Salary:Rs. 35,120 –  87,130/-

 

20.Assistant Commissioner in Labour Department:

Qualification:Candidate should have   Graduation from a recognised University/Institute.

Age Limit: same as Deputy Collector posts.

Salary:Rs. 35,120 –  87,130/

Age Relaxation:

Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC is 05 years .

For PHP Candidates,it is 10 years.

Those who are Ex-servicemen will be provided 3 years age relaxation.

For National Cadet Corps (NCC) who have worked as Instructors in NCC ,it is 3 years.

05 years  relaxation will be given for A.P. State Government Employees however Employees from Andhra Pradesh State Electricity Board (APSEB), Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC), Corporations, Municipalities  are not eligible

For Retrenched temporary employees of State Census Department with a minimum service of 6 months, it will be 3 years of age relaxation.

APPSC Group 1 Notification 2018:Application Procedure

Here is how to apply for these vacancies

  • Log on to the official website of APPSC.
  • Click on “OTPR Registration” button then select ‘Direct Recruitment from two Options that shows on the screen that are ‘Direct Recruitment’ or   ‘Departmental Test’ .
  • Choose  the notification you want to apply for.
  • Click on registration then an application form is opened.
  • fill up all the information it requires.
  • Upload photo and Signature and then make prescribed application fee.
  • Check if it is correct in all aspects then click on  submit,after submitting the application form you will get an ID and Password.
  • Make sure you keep the ID and  Password safely for future use.

APPSC Group 1 Selection Process:

APPSC Group 1 selection procedure consists of Three stages i.e Prelims,Mains and Interview.

The candidates will be required to qualify in those Three stages as Cut-off marks determined in each stage.

APPSC Group 1-Prelims.

APPSC Group 1 prelims consists of Objective Test for 150 questions and each question carries one mark.

APPSC Group 1-Mains.

APPSC Group 1 Mains consists of five papers for 750 marks and Descriptive questions will be given for 150 marks in each paper.

Interview:

The candidates who qualify in prelims and mains will be called for the Interview.

APPSC Group 1 Test Pattern:

APPSC Group 1 -Prelims

It comprises of Objective tests for 150 marks for  150 questions.the  Duration of the examination is 150 min.the candidates who scores as many as  Cut-off marks determined by the Commission will be allowed to write for mains.

APPSC Group 1-Mains 

It comprises of five papers for 750 marks and is Descriptive mode and Each paper is for 150 marks.

The Duration of the each paper is 3 hours.

APPSC Group-1 Mains consists the following five papers.
