IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2018:Last date coming closer for 7275 Clerk Vacancies.

IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2018:Institute of Banking Personnel Selection ( IBPS ) conducts a Common Written Exam ( CWE ) every year to select clerical cadre in several banks across India.all Public Sector Banks ( PSB ) choose this CWE to recruit the right  candidates for them.

It’s 8th year since IBPS took the examination for banking selections.the IBPS Clerk CWE conducts in two levels-Preliminary and Mains.those who cracks those Two level will be selected for the post.It is also known as  IBPS Clerk CWE VIII.

IBPS Clerk recruitment 2018-Notification

IBPS announced a official notification for the IBPS Clerk exam 2018.the IBPS also began the process of application from September 18,2018.the application is now available on official website and interested and eligible candidates can apply their application form online till October 10,2018.

As per the notification,IBPS Clerk 2018 prelims examination is scheduled on December 8,2018,December 9,2018,December 15,2018 & December 16,2018.and Main is scheduled on January 20,2019.It is a golden opportunity for the candidates who didn’t get IBPS clerk earlier.

The IBPS has given as many as 7275 vacancies.they have categorically distributed these vacancies that are 3852 positions for General Category,1673 for OBC Category,1183 for SC Category and 577 for ST category.

IBPS Clerk 2018 exam Dates.

IBPS Clerk Exam Centre.

You will be given an Option to select examination centre of your choice when filling the application,but IBPS can allocate exam centre if there is no place at your chosen centre.you will not be given any guarantee in this regard.

IBPS Clerk Exam Pattern.

The IBPS exam happens in Two Phases-Preliminary and Mains.they conduct both Preliminary and Mains in online mode only.the pattern of exam is as follow.

Phase 1:IBPS Clerk Preliminary Examination:

The Preliminary exam for IBPS Clerk CWE is an online exam that is testing candidate’s knowledge based on Aptitude and English.Totally Three sections are there in IBPS Prelims.a candidate must gain cut off in each section to qualify Mains.

Candidates must complete the question paper within an hour which means each part  you need to answer in 20 minutes.they totally give 100 questions.and the Cut off will be decided based on the level of difficulty of the exam.it might change each year.

Keep in mind that you have to qualify each section of Three to get selected for Mains.so you have to be alert while writing the exam.

Phase-2:IBPS Clerk Main examination:

you observe a major changes in the exam pattern of  Mains.unlike earlier,IBPS Mains paper comprises 190 questions that should be completed in the time frame of 160 minutes.

Earlier,they used to give Reasoning Ability and Computer Aptitude separately.However,recently these two have been merged and they will give 50 questions that needs to be solved duration of 45 min.both Prelims and mains will be held in two language-Hindi and English.Take a look at the Exam Pattern of IBPS CWE VIII

Penalty for wrong answer.

You are going to have  a penalty for wrong answer marked in both the Prelims  as well as Mains.for every wrong answer marked,you will get one fourth marks will absolutely be deducted from total marks you gained.so be careful when attempting the examination.if you precisely do not know the answer,leave it unmarked.

IBPS makes final the merit list of the selected candidates based on the marks obtained in phase-2 and moreover the final cut off will be decided for different category.

IBPS Clerk Exam 2018-Syllabus.

It comprises Three parts that are Reasoning Ability,English Language & Numerical Ability and each of the parts have multiple chapters to focus on if you want to prepare well for IBPS Clerk CWE.

English Language,Reasoning Ability and Numerical Ability are the same for Mains.but In addition to these subjects,there are two other subjects as well named General/Financial awareness and Computer knowledge.

English Language:

It includes Reading Comprehension,Cloze test,Error spotting ,Fillers (Double fillers, Multiple Sentence Fillers, Sentence Fillers),  Phrase Replacement, Odd Sentence, Inference, Sentence Completion,Connectors, Paragraph Conclusion, Phrasal Verb Related Questions,  Word usage/ Vocabulary Based Questions.

Numerical Ability:

It has Data Interpretation, Inequalities , Number Series, Approximation and Simplification, Data Sufficiency, Miscellaneous Arithmetic Problems on HCF and LCM, Profit and Loss, SI & CI, Problem on Ages, Work and Time, Speed Distance and Time, Probability, Mensuration, Permutation and Combination, Average, Ratio and Proportion, Partnership, Problems on Boats and Stream, Problems on Trains, Mixture and Allegation, Pipes and Cisterns.

Reasoning Ability:

It comprises Puzzles and Arrangements, Direction Sense, Blood-Relation, Syllogism, Order and Ranking, Coding-Decoding, Inequalities, Alphabet Related Questions.

IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2018- Educational Qualification.

A candidate should have passed Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or equivalent.those candidates who want to apply should have English as one of the subject as one of the subject at SSC/HSC/Intermediate /Graduation.

Age Limit ( as on September 01,2018):

The candidates should be between 21 years and 28 years.age relaxation is applicable as per norms.if you want more on age relaxation.you need to log on to official website.

IBPS Clerk Pre-exam Training.

IBPS Clerk Pre-exam Training would be conducted by banks that recruits candidates through IBPS.the pre-exam Training would be conducted for candidates belonging to SC/ST/Minority communities.candidates can get the training at their own cost by opting the same against relevant column when applying online.the pre-exam training would be held at following centres.

The candidates who want to opt the pre-exam training have to download Hall Ticket for training by type in registration number,date of birth on bank website.any hard copy wouldn’t be sent.

IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2018-application process:

The candidates who want to apply for these vacancies should have below mentioned documents.

  • Application fee must be paid before.

When applying,keep in mind you must read the complete notification carefully.

IBPS Clerk Application fee:

General/unreserved category candidate will have to pay Rs.600 while SC/ST /PWD category candidates will have to pay Rs.100 only.

All candidates should download the Call letter from Official website of IBPS as no Hall Ticket will be sent by offline which means by post or other ways,Admit cards will not be sent to the candidates.so by entering registration number and Date of Birth,you can download your Hall Ticket.

Generally,Admit cards will be available 10 days before commencement of examination on its website.Initially,Hall Ticket for preliminary examination will be made available.the next  candidates who  qualify in prelims will be given mains Admit card.
